Abstract
In 2019, an infection caused by the CoV strain 2019-nCoV, now called severe acute respiratory disease COVID-19, appeared in Wuhan, China. Covid-19 infection has become a pandemic that is still spreading rapidly around the world and also in Latvia. 100 respondents who were diagnosed with COVID-19 were interviewed to find out the main symptoms of the disease and to get information about the health problems after COVID-19 infection, as well as to find out their opinion about vaccination. The most common symptoms after COVID-19 were fatigue, dizziness, cardiac tachycardia and sleep disturbances, suggesting that Covid-19 can affect human life and psycho-emotional conditions long after illness, therefore 60% of respondents supporting vaccination.
