Abstract
Author of the work – Jekaterina Alshevska. Title of the work – Development of fine motor skills in applique classes for 3-4 year old children. The purpose of the work – to conduct a study on the development of fine motor skills in 3-4 year old children using applique. The work consists of 31 pages, contains 2 pictures, 5 tables, 25 bibliographic list items and 3 appendices. Progress was observed in all children, which proves that purposefully organized, age-appropriate creative activities (tearing, cutting, gluing) contribute to the improvement of fine hand muscles, eye-hand coordination and accuracy. Each lesson took into account the individual interests and temperament of the children – calmer children were given the opportunity to work independently, while the more active ones were offered more dynamic elements. This helped to maintain motivation and promoted the realization of each child's potential. Keywords - motor skills, application, improvement, fine muscles.
