Abstract
Lifetime extension opportunities for the usage of graphite cuvettes. Strika G. Supervisor Dr. Ch. Rudoviča V. Bachelor’s thesis, 38 pages, 29 figures, 6 tables, 23 literature references, 1 appendix. In Latvian. In the process of this Bachelor' s thesis the author researched the possibilities to expand exploitation period of Massman graphite cuvette which were chemically treated with palladium and platinum compounds. The research was done using electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry method. In order to test these modified graphite cuvettes, standart liquids containing nickel, arsenic and cadmim elements were chosen for control of absorption signals.
