dc.description.abstractIn contemporary Europe there have been debates with regards to growing Islamic community and its demand for sharia norms. Reports on the serious Human Rights violations and emergence of fundamental Islam increased fear in the society towards sharia and Islam in general. Moreover, recent calls from the Council of Europe expressing it concerns with regards to the implementation of the sharia norms within European territory increased the interest of that field. Approaching another legal system which is alien to European culture and has rich historical background creates a difficult, but remarkably interesting task.en_US
