Abstract
Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir veikt pētījuma korpusa salīdzinošo analīzi un sasaistē ar teorētisko literatūru izpētīt Latvijas vācisko vietvārdu klātbūtnes raksturojumu sabiedriskajā telpā, to pašreizējo lietojumu Latvijas lingvistiskajā ainavā dažādos kontekstos, diskutēt par to reprezentācijas aktualitāti. Šiem vietvārdi ir svarīga un jau nostiprinājusies loma Latvijas kultūras vēsturē un pēdējajos gados ir novērojajama šo vietvārdu parādīšanās uzņēmumu reģistros un dažādu produktu nosaukumos.
The aim of this master's thesis is to conduct a comparative analysis of the study corpus and, in connection with theoretical literature, to investigate the characteristics of the presence of German place names in the public space of Latvia, their current appearance in the Latvian linguistic landscape in various contexts, and to discuss the relevance of their representation. These place names have an important and already established role in Latvia's cultural history, and in recent years, there has been an observable appearance of these place names in business registries and various product names.
