Jauniešu ekonomiskā reemigrācija un adaptācija Latvijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba galvenais mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādēļ jaunieši brauc prom no savas valsts un kādēļ viņi nolemj atgriezties atpakaļ, un cik grūti vai viegli viņiem ir adaptēties, atgriežoties atpakaļ Latvijā. Lai noskaidrotu jauniešu motivāciju doties prom uz ārvalstīm un faktorus, kas viņus pamudina atgriezties atpakaļ, darbā tika izmantotas daļēji strukturētās intervijas. Kopā tika savāktas desmit daļēji strukturētās intervijas. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika aplūkotas migrācijas, akulturācijas un adaptācijas teorijas, kā arī sociālais kapitāls un sociālie tīkli migrācijas un reemigrācijas kontekstā. Pētījumā noskaidrojās, ka vienlīdz svarīgi aizbraukšanai ir gan ekonomiskie, gan sociāli psiholoģiskie faktori, savukārt vieni no galvenajiem atgriešanās iemesliem tiek minēti grūtības svešajā zemē un ilgas pēc mājām un tuviniekiem. Tas, kā jaunieši adaptējas atpakaļ Latvijā, ir cieši saistīts ar dažādiem faktoriem, piemēram, vai jauniešus Latvijā sagaidīja tuvinieki un draugi, cik ilgu laiku nodzīvoja ārzemēs un vai pirms atgriešanās bija kādi konkrēti mērķi, ko darīt Latvijā. Kopumā pētījumā noskaidrojās, ka jauniešiem nebija grūtību adaptēties pēc atgriešanās no darba ārzemēs.

The main point this bachelor work is to find out why young people leave their country and why they decide to return, and how hard it is for them to adapt to the surroundings when, they return to Latvia. To find out the motivation behind the leaving to foreign countries and the factors of returning of the young people, partially structured interview was used in this work. Fully there were made 10 such interviews. In the theoretical part the theories of migration, acculturation and adaptation are viewed, as well as, the social capital and social links in the context of migration and remigration. In the study it was found out that the main factor for the leaving of their home-country was the colliding of the socially psychological factors and the economical factors. However, one of the main reasons of returning to their home-country are the hardship in the foreign country and the home-sickness. How the young people will adapt back to Latvia, it depends on many factors, for instance, whether they are awaited home bay their friends and family, the amount of time they had lived in the foreign country and whether they had special motives for returning, what to do next in Latvija. In the end of the study it was found out that the young people don’t really have problems with adaptation, after returning from working in foreign countries.
