Latvijas metālapstrādes nozares konkurētspēja un to ietekmējošie faktori

Abstract

Maģistra darba autors ir Latvijas Universitātes Biznesa, Vadības un Ekonomikas fakultātes Ekonomikas maģistra studiju programmas Industriālās ekonomikas studiju virziena 2.kursa students Jānis Šmits. Maģistra darba vadītājs ir prof., Dr. oec. Sandra Jēkabsone. Maģistra darba temats ir Latvijas metālapstrādes nozares konkurētspēja un to ietekmējošie faktori. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas konkurētspēju mašīnbūves un metālapstrādes nozarēs, to ietekmi uz Latvijas ekonomisko izaugsmi, novērtēt pētījuma rezultātus, atklāt pozitīvās un negatīvās tendences un izstrādāt priekšlikumus nozares attīstībai, nozares problēmu risināšanai un šķēršļu novēršanai, kas ir būtiski, lai veicinātu Latvijas ekonomisko izaugsmi un labklājības līmeņa palielināšanos. Maģistra darba pirmajā nodaļā aplūkoti konkurētspējas teorētiskie aspekti, tās noteicošie faktori un konkurētspējas koncepciju attīstība laika gaitā. Otrajā nodaļā ir plaša Latvijas metālapstrādes konkurētspējas ietekmējošo faktoru analīze, kā arī tiek aplūkoti Latvijas lielākie mašīnbūves un metālapstrādes uzņēmumi pēc neto apgrozījuma 2021.gadā. Trešajā daļā tiek vērtēta Latvijas metālapstrādes nozares konkurētspēja, kā arī izvērtēti konkurētspējas priekšrocības faktori. Maģistra darba apjoms ir 85 lpp., tas sastāv no 3 nodaļām, 7 tabulām un 25 attēliem. Maģistra darbā izmantoti 64 dažādi literatūras un datu avoti.

The author of the Master's thesis is Jānis Šmits, a 2nd-year student of the Master's study program in Economics, Industrial Economics, Faculty of Business, Management and Economics of the University of Latvia. The supervisor of the master's thesis is Prof. Dr. oec. Sandra Jēkabsone. The topic of the master's thesis is the competitiveness of the Latvian metalworking industry and the factors affecting it. The aim of the master's thesis is to investigate Latvia's competitiveness in the mechanical engineering and metalworking industries, their impact on Latvia's economic growth, evaluate the results of the study, reveal positive and negative trends and develop proposals for the development of the industry, solving industry problems and removing obstacles, which are essential to promote Latvia's economic growth and an increase in the level of well-being. The first chapter of the master's thesis examines the theoretical aspects of competitiveness, its determining factors, and the development of competitiveness concepts over time. The second chapter contains an extensive analysis of the factors influencing the competitiveness of Latvian metalworking and examines Latvia's largest mechanical engineering and metalworking companies by net turnover in 2021. In the third part, the competitiveness of the Latvian metalworking industry is evaluated, as well as the competitive advantage factors are evaluated. The volume of the master's thesis is 85 pages, it consists of 3 chapters, 7 tables and 25 drawings. 64 different sources of literature and data are used in the master's thesis.
