Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to study hydrogeological conditions of Vejupite springs catchment area. Study of hydrogeological conditions in Vejupite springs catchment area was researched with method of hydrochemical and debit analysis of spring water, which is one of method used to research springs and characterize hydrogeological condition. Processing of data and finding results indicate, that in springs catchment area chemical composition of groundwaters is affected by lithological composition and properties of aquifer, water recharge from deeper aquifiers, as well as by anthropogenic activities and by composition and amount of precipitation Key words: springs, hydrogeological conditions, hydrochemistry , Vejupite
