HOPS loma plaušu vēža patoģenēzē

Abstract

HOPS ir globālā epidēmija, kas skar gandrīz 300 milj. cilvēku. Plaušu vēzis ir viens no visbiežāk nāvi izraisošajiem vēžiem sievietēm, kā arī visbiežāk nāvi izraisošais vēzis vīriešiem. Bakalaura darbā tika pētīta HOPS ietekme uz plaušu vēža patoģenēzi. Pētījumā piedalījās 40 pacienti (2010. – 2012.g.), kuri bija operēti sakarā ar nesīkšūnu plaušu vēzi. Diagnozi noteica, veicot histoloģiskos izmeklējumus. Pacientiem tika veikta spirometrija. Dati parādīja adenokarcinomas biežāku izplatību sievietēm (67%), bet plakanšūnu karcinomas - vīriešiem (71%). Pēc FEV1/FVC attiecības novēroja tiffno indeksa samazināšanos pacientiem ar nesīkšūnu plaušu vēzi. Visaugstākais tiffno indekss ir pacientiem 1. stadijā, tas samazinās, progresējot vēzim. 1.stadijā - 0.7±0.05; 2. stadijā - 0.6±0.08; 3. stadijā - 0.6±0.09.

COPD is one of the most prevalent diseases in the world. Aptoximately 3 million people die of it yearly. On the other hand non-small cell lung cancer is also one of the leading causes of death among both men and women. The aim of this study is to explore COPD influence on lung cancer pathogenesis. 40 patients were included in this study. All of these patients had non-small cell lung cancer. To assess pulmonary function of the patients’ spirometry was used. Our results show that there are more adenocarcinoma patients among women (67%), and more squamous cell carcinoma among men (71%). FEV1/FVC relation were lower in lung cancer group than in general population. Although, results were not statistically significant, it still be concluded that there FEV1/FEV index tend to be lower in COPD/lung cancer comorbid patients.
