Izmaiņu dispersijas novērtēšana, izmantojot Būtstrepa metodi

Abstract

Eiropas Savienības darbaspēka apsekojumu izmaiņu dispersijas novērtēšanai izmanto linearizāciju. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir atrast piemērotu alternatīvu metodi linearizācijai darbaspēka apsekojumu izmaiņu dispersijas novērtēšanai. Kā alternatīva tiks apskatīta būtsrtepa metode. Darbā izmantoti Eiropas Savienības Statistikas biroja Eurostat darbaspēka apsekojuma dati, kuriem tiek pielietota būtstrepa iterāciju ģenerēšana. Iterācijas tiek ģenerētas dažādiem skaitiem un analizēti iegūtie rezultāti. Zināms, ka, jo lielāks iterāciju skaits, jo precīzāk būtstreps apraksta reālos datus. Palielinot būstrepēšanas iterāciju skaitu, vēlams tuvinoties Eurostat iegūtajiem rezultātiem.

The European Union Labour Force Survey, or EU-LFS for short, uses linearization for estimation of the variance for annual net changes. The objective of thesis is to offer an alternative method to linearization, when estimating variance of EU-LFS data. As an alternative, the Bootstrap method will be offered. Data from European Union Labour Force Survey is used, for which the bootstrap iterations are generated from. Iterations are generated for different count and obtained results are analyzed. It is known that, more iterations are taken, more precisely bootstrap describes the actual data. When the bootstrap iteration count is increased, it would be desired to reach closer to Eurostat obtained results.
