Abstract
Darba nosaukums ir „Neo-vedantisms Indijā un rietumu pasaulē”.
Šī darba tēza ir: mūsdienu neo-hinduistisko skolu eklektiskā mācība ir apvienota zem advaita-vedantas nosaukuma uz neo-vedantisma uzskatu bāzes.
Pirmā nodaļā ir aplūkotas trīs klasiskās vedantas skolas – advaita, višišta-advaita un dvaita vedantas galvenie raksti, uzskati, ka arī skolu atšķirības.
Otrajā nodaļā ir aprakstīta neo-vedantisma rašanas vēsture, galvenie neo-vedantisma domātāji un veids kā viņi ietekmēja turpmāko vedantas izpratni.
Trešajā nodaļā uz trīs populāru kustību piemēriem, ir pārādīts kā neo-vedantisma rādītie uzskati ietekmēja mūsdienu hinduistiskas kustības mācību un to izplatību rietumos. Šīs nodaļas ietvaros ir pētītas Ramana Maharši, Paramahansas Joganandas un Satja Sai Babas mācības un uzskati.

The name of this work is: „Neo-vedantism in India and The West”. The thesis of the work is: the eclectic teachings of modern Neo-hindu movements are called advaita-vedanta on the base of Neo-vedantic view. The first part of the work describes three classical schools of vedanta - advaita, vishishta-advaita and dvaita vedantas, their main scriptures, views and differences between them. The second part of the research reveals the history of neo-vedanta, portrays the main neo-vedana thinkers and describes the way they influenced the future understanding of vedanta. In the third part of this work on the example of three movements is shown how neo-vedantic views influenced modern neo-hindu teachings and it's popularity in the west. The teachings and views of Ramana Maharshi, Paramahansa Yogananda and Satya Sai Baba are researched in this part.
