Abstract
Pētījuma mērķis bija apkopot literatūru un veikt pētījumu par attālinātā darba intensitātes un ilguma saistībām ar apmierinātību ar darbu un darba-dzīves līdzsvaru. Pētījumā tika izvirzīti 2 jautājumi: 1) kādas ir attālinātā darba intensitātes saistības ar apmierinātību ar darbu un darba-dzīves līdzsvaru; 2) kādas ir attālinātā darba ilguma saistības ar apmierinātību ar darbu un darba-dzīves līdzsvaru. Lai noskaidrotu atbildes uz pētījuma jautājumiem, tika ievākti dati no 123 respondentiem, kuri ir nodarbināti informāciju tehnoloģiju (IT) nozarē. Tika izmantota aptauja, kas sastāvēja no četrām daļām – 1) jautājumi par attālinātā darba intensitāti un ilgumu; 2) Apmierinātības ar darbu aptauja (Spector, 1985); 3) Īsā darba un dzīves līdzsvara aptauja (Syrek, BauerEmmel, Antoni & Klusemann, 2011); 4) demogrāfisko datu noteikšana. Atbildot uz pētījuma jautājumiem, tiek secināts, ka attālinātā darba intensitāte neuzrāda statistiski nozīmīgas saistības ar apmierinātību ar darbu un darba-dzīves līdzsvaru, kā arī attālinātā darba ilgums neuzrāda statistiski nozīmīgas saistības ar apmierinātību ar darbu, bet uzrāda statistiski nozīmīgu saistību ar darba-dzīves līdzsvaru. The aim of this research was to gather theoretical information and conduct a research on the relationship between remote work intensity and duration and job satisfaction and work-life balance. There were two research questions asked: 1) what is the relationship between remote work intensity, job satisfaction and work-life balance; 2) what is the relationship between remote work duration, job satisfaction and work-life balance. To answer these research questions, data was gathered from 123 IT specialists. A survey was used, that consists of four parts – questions about remote work intensity and duration; Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1985); a short Life and Work Balance Survey (Syrek, BauerEmmel, Antoni & Klusemann, 2011); and questions about demographic data. In conclusion, there is no statistically significant relationship between remote work intensity and job satisfaction and work-life balance, as well as there is no statistically significant relationship between remote work duration and job satisfaction. However, there is a statistically significant relationship between remote work duration and work-life balance.
