Eiropas Savienības enerģētiskā drošība - ietekmējošo faktoru un situācijas analīze ES dalībvalstīs

Abstract

Enerģija ir svarīga ekonomikas sastāvdaļa. Globālās populācijas pieauguma un cilvēku dzīves kvalitātes uzlabošanās rezultātā pieprasījums pēc enerģijas turpina pieaugt. Pieaugošā enerģijas pieprasījuma, kā arī Krievijas iebrukuma Ukrainā dēļ termins enerģētiskā drošība turpina kļūt arvien populārāks. Lai gan temats enerģētiskā drošība ir ļoti svarīgs ekonomiskajai attīstībai pilnīgas informācijas par šo tematu ir retums, tādēļ darba autors adresē šo darbu enerģētiskās drošības ietekmējošu faktoru un situācijas analīzei. Darba teorētiskajā daļā darba autors veic zinātniskās literatūras analīzi par enerģētisko drošību, ekonomisko drošību un diversifikāciju. Metodoloģijā darba autors aplūko Eiropas Savienībā iegūstamos energoresursus un atjaunojamo enerģiju, kā arī veic uz statistikas datiem balstītu importa analīzi. Darba empīriskajā daļā tiek pētīts enerģētiskās drošības indekss un tā saistošās komponentes Latvijā. Rezultātā ir redzama informācija par to kā dažādas enerģiskās drošības komponentes ir mainījušās pētījuma periodā un izdarīti secinājumi par Latvijas Republikas enerģētiskās drošības uzlabošanos.

Energy is an important part of the economy. As a result of global population growth and the improvement of people's quality of life, the demand for energy continues to increase. Due to the increasing demand for energy, as well as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the term energy security continues to become more popular. Although the topic of energy security is very important for economic development, complete information on this topic is rare, so the author of the work will address this work to the analysis of the factors affecting energy security situation. In the theoretical part of the work, the author will analyze the scientific literature on energy security, economic security and diversification. In the methodology, the author of the paper will look at the energy resources and renewable energy available in the European Union, as well as perform an import analysis based on statistical data. In the empirical part of the work, the energy security index and its binding components in Latvia will be studied. As a result, information about how various components of energy security have changed during the research period is visible and conclusions have been drawn about the improvement of the energy security of the Republic of Latvia.
