Kultūras līdzdalība un sociālā iekļaušanās: fonda "Nāc līdzās" gadījums

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Kultūras līdzdalība un sociālā iekļaušanās: fonda “Nāc līdzās” gadījums” mērķis ir izpētīt vai un kāda nozīme cilvēku ar funkcionāliem traucējumiem sociālās iekļaušanās kontekstā ir kultūras līdzdalībai. Pētījuma teorētisko bāzi veido cilvēku ar funkcionāliem traucējumiem pētniecības konteksta apraksts, kultūras līdzdalības teorētiskās koncepcijas un aktualitāšu apskats, Roberta Patnama sociālā kapitāla, Fransuā Materaso kultūras līdzdalības teorētisko ideju skaidrojums, kā arī citu, iepriekš veikto pētījumu analīze. Darbā ir izmantota kvalitatīvā metodoloģija - tika veiktas astoņas daļēji padziļinātās intervijas ar fonda “Nāc līdzās” dalībniekiem un viena intervija ar organizācijas vadītāju. Interviju laikā tiek noskaidrots, ka cilvēku ar funkcionāliem traucējumiem, šajā gadījumā – fonda “Nāc līdzās” dalībnieku - kultūras līdzdalības rezultātā (1) tiek veicināta pašapziņa un pašvērtība; (2) ir radītas iespējas reprezentēt gan pārstāvētās kopienas, gan individuālās kultūras aktivitātes; (3) tiek veicināta savu individuālo prasmju un talantu pilnveidošana un (4) tiek radīti sociālie tīkli gan kopienas ietvaros, gan ārpus tās. Darba rezultātā tiek secināts, ka kultūras līdzdalībai un ar to saistītajiem darbā aprakstītajiem nosacījumiem ir potenciāls veicināt cilvēku ar funkcionāliem traucējumiem sociālo iekļaušanos, tādējādi šo personu dzīvēs tā ieņem būtisku lomu.

The aim of the Master's thesis "Cultural participation and social inclusion: the case of the "Nāc līdzās" foundation" is to investigate whether and what significance the cultural participation of people with functional disabilities has in the context of social inclusion. The theoretical basis of the study consists of a description of the research context of people with functional disabilities, a review of the theoretical concepts and current affairs of cultural participation, an explanation of the theoretical ideas of Robert Putnam's social capital, Francois Matarasso's cultural participation, as well as an analysis of other previously conducted studies. The qualitative methodology is used in the work - eight semi-in-depth interviews were conducted with members of the "Nāc līdzās" foundation and one interview with the head of the organization. During the interviews, it was found that as a result of the cultural participation of people with functional disabilities, in this case - the participants of the "Nāc līdzās" foundation (1) self-confidence and self-worth are promoted; (2) opportunities have been created to represent both the represented community and individual cultural activities; (3) development of one's individual skills and talents is encouraged and (4) social networks are created both within and outside the community. As a result of the work, it is concluded that cultural participation and the related conditions described in the work have the potential to promote the social inclusion of people with functional disabilities, thus it plays an important role in the lives of these persons.
