Abstract
Pētījuma “Fizisko grāmatu preventīvā saglabāšana Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas Obligātā eksemplāra arhīvā” mērķis ir apzināt, apkopot un analizēt pieejamo informāciju Latvijas Nacionālajā bibliotēkā un citu valstu praksi krājuma saglabāšanā, lai identificētu iespējamos trūkumus un uzlabotu fizisko grāmatu preventīvo saglabāšanu. Darbā tiek analizēta izmantotā nozares terminoloģija un raksturota teorētiskā bāze maģistra darba izstrādei. Maģistra darba teorētisko pamatojumu veido aksioloģija jeb vērtību teorija un kultūras mantojuma jēdziens un kultūras mantojuma teorija. Datu ieguvei tika izmantotas kvalitatīvās metodes – intervija un kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze. Pētījuma rezultāti ļauj izprast preventīvās saglabāšanas nozīmību un obligātā eksemplāra saglabāšanas nepieciešamību, kā arī tika veikti ieteikumi OE arhīva fizisko grāmatu saglabāšanai. The aim of the study "Preventive Preservation of Physical Books in the Legal Deposit Archive of the National Library of Latvia" is to identify, compile, and analyze available information at the National Library of Latvia and practices from other countries in collection preservation to identify possible deficiencies and improve the preventive preservation of physical books. The work analyzes the terminology used in the field and describes the theoretical basis for the development of the master's thesis. The theoretical framework of the master's thesis is based on axiology or the theory of values, and the concept and theory of cultural heritage. Qualitative methods were used for data collection – interviews and qualitative content analysis. The results of the study allow for an understanding of the importance of preventive preservation and the necessity of preserving legal deposit copies. Recommendations were also made for the preservation of physical books in the Legal Deposit Archive. Keywords: preventive preservation, Legal Deposit Archive, cultural heritage
