Abstract

Diplomdarba nosaukums ir “Tekstu loma runas prasmju attīstīšanā angļu valodas stundās sākumskolā”. Šī tēma tika izvēlēta, lai uzzinātu, kā skolēniem patīk strādāt stundā izmantojot tekstu, lai pilnveidotu viņu svešvalodas runas prasmes. Diplomdarba mērķis ir izzināt tekstu lomu runas prasmju veidošanā jaunāko klašu skolēniem sākumskolā. Diplomdarbs balstās uz tekstu lomu runas prasmju mācīšanas un mācīšanās teoriju un dažādiem praktiskiem uzdevumiem. Tika izzināts un izpētīts teorētiski un praktiski, kā uzlabot skolēnu runas prasmes. Teorētiski tika aplūkots, ko, kā un kāpēc mācīties izmantojot tekstu. Tika noskaidrots, kādas problēmas ir maniem skolēniem, darbojoties ar tekstu, veidojot dialogus, īstus stāstiņus, dziedot dziesmas vai veicot dažādus uzdevumus, kuri attīstītu runas prasmes. Praktiski izmēģināti dažādi vingrinājumi un uzdevumi, lai uzlabotu skolēnu prasmi runāt angļu valodā. Ļoti svarīgi panākt, lai skolēni stundās nebaidītos sarunāties ne vien savā starpā, bet arī ar skolotāju. Darbā jāizmanto interesantākie un nepieciešamākie vingrinājumi runas attīstībai. Tika secināts, ka svešvalodu apguvei jānotiek pēc iespējas dabīgākā veidā, ar mērķi zināšanas pielietot reālās dzīves situācijās. Skolotājam ir jāatrod vai jāizveido uzdevumi, kas ir ne vien efektīvi, bet arī interesanti. Skolēnam jājūt, ka viņa zināšanas uzlabojas. Svarīgi ir radīt klasē draudzīgu un radošu atmosfēru. Jānodrošina, lai visi skolēni aktīvi tiktu iesaistīti mācību procesā. Skolotājam labi jāpazīst skolēni un jāzina, kas interesē attiecīgā vecuma bērnus. Runas prasme ir viena no sarežģītākajām iemaņām, jo nepieciešamas zināšanas gan leksikā, gan fonētikā, gan gramatikā. Lai sekmīgi apgūtu runas prasmes, ir nepieciešama regulāra vingrināšanās. Runas prasmes ir pamats komunikācijai. Spēle ir labs līdzeklis skolēnu aktivitātes rosināšanai. Ar grupu un pāru darba palīdzību stundas laikā var izteikties visi skolēni. Paralēli mācību grāmatai skolotājam ir nepieciešams atrast un izveidot tekstus runas prasmju attīstīšanai.

The title of the diploma work is “Role of the text when developing talking skills at English lessons in junior forms”. This topic is chosen to find out how learners enjoy the text as well as to develop their foreign language speaking skills. The aim of the diploma work is to find out the importance of speaking skills and how they are improved when talking in junior forms. The Diploma work is based mainly on teaching speaking skills, learning methods and forming different practical exercises. The area of speaking is theoretically based and practically fulfilled. Theoretically this topic is based on how, what and why the text is used. Some problems with the text are cleared when teaching certain junior children. Small dialogues, short, simple stories, well known songs and melodies are made use of when working with the text. Practical exercises are taken to improve learners’ English speaking skills. It is important the learners’ talking English is natural and they are not afraid to converse among themselves and the teacher. It is necessary to make use of the most interesting and more useful exercises. It is concluded that manner of foreign language teaching must take place in a natural way with the aim to use language in real life – like situations. Teachers’ task is to find not only effective, but also interesting exercises. Learners must feel that their knowledge improves daily. Classroom atmosphere must be friendly and creative. A greater number of learners must take part in the teaching process. It is very important that the teacher is well – acquainted with the learners and their interests. Talking skill is one of the most complicated skills for learners, as it is based on good pronunciation, grammar rules and a certain amount of lexics. Regular training is needed to acquire good talking skills successfully. Talking skills are the basis of active communication. In order to make learners work actively and involve them in the lesson a good means is a game. Group work and pair work helps to involve all learners in the lesson. Teacher must try to make exercises, texts and dialogues to develop speaking skills.
