Abstract
Maģistra darbs ir veltīts tematisko un stilistisko elementu analīzei Deivida Finčera filmās. Darbā tiek aplūkota un analizēta auteur jēdziena pamatotība, kā arī autorības teorijas un post-strukturalisma pieejas izmantošanas iespējamība stilistiskai un tematiskai filmu analīzei. Maģistra darba tiek sniegts pārskats par teorētisko literatūru, kas nepieciešama praktiskās filmu analīzes veikšanai. Praktisko daļu veido filmu tematiskā un stilistiskā elementu analīze, kā arī to žanrisko iezīmju apskats.
The paper is devoted to the analysis of the thematic and stylistic elements in films by David Fincher. The validity of the concept of auteur and the possibility of application of auteur theory together with post-structuralist approach to style and theme analysis have been examined and discussed. The methods of research include studying of theoretical literature necessary for creating the background needed for film practical analysis. The practical part includes thematic and stylistic analysis and categorization of Alien3(1992), Seven (1995), The Game (1997), Fight Club (1999) and Panic Room (2002).
