Ludzas pilsētas vēsturiskā centra attīstības potenciāls

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir Ludzas vecpilsētas neizmantotā attīstības potenciāla izpēte, kā arī priekšlikumu izstrādāšana Ludzas pilsētbūvniecības pieminekļa saglabāšanai un nākotnes attīstībai. Darba pirmajā daļā tiek izpētīta Latvijas vēsturisko pilsētu telpiskā attīstība, definētas attīstības galvenās tendences un problēmas, kā arī izpētīta Ludzas pilsētas un tās vēsturiskā centra attīstības vēsture. Lai realizētu maģistra darbā izvirzīto mērķi, tika analizēta literatūra un izvērtēta vecpilsētas nozīme un funkcijas mūsdienu pilsētā, ka arī vēsturiskā centra plānošanas instrumenti un saglabāšanas pieejas. Darba rezultātā veikta Ludzas vecpilsētas uzbūves analīze un izstrādāti priekšlikumi Ludzas vēsturiskā centra saglabāšanai un attīstībai. Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā. Teksta daļa sastāv no ievada, 5 nodaļām ar apakšnodaļām, secinājumiem, izmantotās literatūras un avotu saraksta. Kopējais darba apjoms ir 64 lapaspuses. Darbā iekļauti 50 attēli, 1 tabula un 15 pielikumi, kas ilustrē un paskaidro darba saturu. Darbā izmantoti 57 literatūras avoti.

The aim of the Master’s Paper is to explore the development potential of Ludza old town, as well as to draft suggestions for preservation of town planning monuments of Ludza and their future development. Spatial development of Latvia’s historic towns is explored in the first part of the Paper, the main tendencies and problems of development are defined, and the history of Ludza’s historic centre and town is analysed as well. In order to achieve the proposed aim of the Master’s Paper, literature was analysed and the significance of the old town and its functions in contemporary town was evaluated, as well as planning tools for the historical centre and its preservation approaches are evaluated. In the practical part analysis of Ludza’s old town structure was made and suggestions for preservation and development of historic centre of Ludza were developed. Master’s Paper is written in Latvian. Study includes introduction, five chapters with 13 subchapters, conclusions, list of references and sources. The total number of pages is 64. The Master’s Paper consists of 50 graphic images, 1 table and 15 appendixes that illustrate and explain the content of the study. The study includes information of 57 sources of literature.
