Naratīva struktūra un kino stils Giljermo del Toro filmās “Pāna labirints”, “Purpura smaile” un “Ūdens forma”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Naratīva struktūra un kino stils Giljermo del Toro filmās “Pāna labirints”, “Purpura smaile” un “Ūdens forma””. Pētījuma mērķis ir saprast naratīvo struktūru un režisoriskās iezīmes, jeb stila iezīmes Giljermo del Toro filmās, šim mērķim teoritiskāja daļa tiek apskatītas kino valodas, semiotikas un naratīva teoriju tēmas. Lietojot semiotisko analīzi, naratīvo analīzi, kā arī izmantojot kinozinātnieka Jurija Civjana (Yuri Tsivian) rīku “Cinemetrics” tiks analizētas augstākminētās kinofilmas. Analizējot pētījumā rezultātus secināt par režisora kino stilu un filmu naratīvo analīzi.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is “Narrative structure and film style in Guillermo del Toro movies "Pan's Labyrinth", "Crimson Peak" and "The Shape of Water"”. The aim of research is to understand the narrative structure, director’s features and style of Guillermo del Toro movies. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the language, semiotics and narrative of the movies and considers them according to semiotic and narrative analysis as well as Yuri Tsivian’s “Cinemetrics” tool. The findings of this research conclude with the director’s film making style and narrative structure.
