The author explores United Nations Peacekeeping missions regarding the violations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - success and failure determined by the strategic points of the conflict. The analysis of the work includes the expertise of the peacekeeping missions that had been taking place in Darfur and Macedonia and have been compared based on the criteria by which it has been possible to determine the positive or negative outcomes of these missions. As the goal of the paper the author has indicated the gain of understanding whether the United Nations peacekeeping mission outcomes have been influenced by the strategic points of the conflict or the outcome of these missions is mainly influenced by the states themselves.en_US
