Prieka jēdziens Pāvila vēstulēs

Abstract

Šajā darbā apskatīts jautājums par prieka jēdziena nozīmi Apustuļa Pāvila vēstulēs. Darbā kā avoti izmantotas tikai autentiskās Pāvila vēstules:vēstule Filipiešiem, abas vēstules Korintiešiem, vēstule Romiešiem, Galatiešiem un 1. Tesaloniķiešiem, vēstule Filemonam. Darbā ir mēģināts pierādīt, ka Pāvilam prieka jēdziens ir ar izteiktu sociālu dimensiju. Tas saprotams draudzes kā kopības kontekstā nevis kā iekšēja individuāla norise cilvēkā. Izmantotas trīs dažādas pieejas jautājuma izpētei. 1)Pāvila lietoto prieka jēdzienu terminoloģisks apskats; 2)Centrālo Rakstu vietu, kurās lietoti šie jēdzieni, ekseģētisks apskats; 3)Iegūto rezultātu analīze Pāvila ētikas, eklezioloģijas un kristoloģijas kontekstā. Iegūtie rezultāti norāda uz to, ka Pāvils atzina lepošanos tikai ar Dieva žēlastības darbību, bet viņu priecēja draudzes atbilde ticībā kopības (koinonia) veidošanai Kristū. Pāvilu priecēja draudzes vienotība, mīlestība un viņu kalpošana cits citam, jo tas veidoja un uzturēja šo kopību

This thesis gives an overview about the specific use and meaning of the word „joy” in Paul’s letters. The aim of this thesis is to prove that the meaning of the word „joy” in Paul’s letters has to be understood in terms of the church as communion (koinonia). Paul does not mean by „joy” a set of inner attitudes or spiritual perfection. He always has joy in the communion (koinonia). Three different approaches has been used in order to reach the goal: 1) overview of the specific terms Paul uses in terms of „joy”; 2) exegetical analysis of the selected passages that contain „joy”; 3) the analysis of the results in the context of Paul’s ethics, ecclesiology and Christology. The results prove that although Paul was certain that the only legitimate boasting can be in God and what he has done through Christ, Paul rejoices about unity, love and mutual serving to each other in the church because that builds the communion (koinonia) where God’s power can be manifested in the world.
