Abstract

“Latviešu valodas runas sintēze” darbā pētīta latviešu valodas runas sintēzes esošā situācija kontekstā ar pasaules straujajām attīstības tendencēm runas tehnoloģijās. Autore izstrādājusi jaunu latviešu valodas runas sintēzes rīku, kā arī apkopojusi informāciju par pēdējos gados izmantotajām runas sintēzes metodēm un citiem latviešu valodas runas sintēzes rīkiem. Runas sintezatori atbilstoši vispārpieņemtai pieejai subjektīvi testēti. Pamatojoties uz testēšanas rezultātiem, izdarīti secinājumi par iespējamajiem uzlabojumiem izstrādātajā runas sintēzes rīka darbībā.

“Speech synthesis of Latvian language” contains a study of the field of Latvian speech synthesis in context of developments in speech technologies for other languages. Author has developed new tool for Latvian text-to-speech and has gathered and compiled information on other speech synthesis methods and tools used in recent years. The speech synthesizers respective to the common practice are subjectively tested. Conclusions are made based on testing results for possible improvements in the tool.
