| dc.description.abstract | Diplomdarbs veltīts leksikas mācīšanai uz stāstu bāzes. Pētījums sastāv no divām daļām – teorētiskās un praktiskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā autore apraksta galvenos leksikas mācīšanas etapus, principus un paņēmienus. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek izklāstīta leksikas mācīšanas nozīme, kas ir saistīta ar leksikas mācīšanas principiem un tās pakāpenību. Otrajā nodaļā detalizēti iztirzāta leksikas mācīšana uz stāstu bāzes, kas ietver lasīšanas jēdzienu un teksta izvēles principus, kā arī lasīšanas efektivitāti un tās problēmas, stāstu mutisko stāstījumu un vizuālo materiālu, kas palīdz leksikas mācīšanas procesā. Trešā nodaļa veltīta stāstu klausīšanās un video izmantojuma efektivitātei. Empīriskā pētījuma daļa piedāvā trīs piemēra uzdevumus, kas veidoti uz stāstu bāzes. Tiek analizēti visi uzdevumi, kā arī skolnieces līdzdalība šī diplomdarba ietvaros. Šī pētījuma praktiskā vērtība ir tā izmantojamība angļu valodas stundās, mācot leksiku uz stāstu bāzes. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The present paper focuses on teaching vocabulary through stories. The paper consists of two parts - the theoretical and the practical part. In the theoretical part the author has discussed the main steps, principles and techniques for teaching vocabulary through stories. The first chapter is aimed at discussing the importance of teaching vocabulary which includes the principles of vocabulary selection and steps in presenting vocabulary. The second chapter deals with a detailed description of teaching vocabulary through stories and includes treatment of reading and story selection principles, the effectiveness of reading aloud, reading and learning difficulties, storytelling and also visual aids in learning vocabulary. The third part presents description of the merits of listening to the story and using video. The empirical part of the diploma paper offers three samples of activities based on stories. Each type of activity is accompanied with its analysis, as well as the analysis of the learner who participated in the research. The research of this paper can be used in English classes as a useful resource material for teaching vocabulary through stories. | en_US |
