Drukāto uzziņu avotu izmantošana informācijas meklēšanā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Drukāto uzziņu avotu izmantošana informācijas meklēšanā” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā tiek izmantoti galvenie drukāto uzziņu avotu veidi un cik lielā mērā to ir ietekmējušas mūsdienu tehnoloģijas. Pētījuma ietvaros veiktā anketēšana un intervijas ļauj salīdzināt viedokļus no divām pusēm – lietotāja un bibliotēkas darbinieka. Pētījuma rezultāti apstiprina hipotēzi, ka drukātie uzziņu avoti tiek izmantoti mazāk nekā elektroniskie, jo tie ir grūtāk pieejami un to izmantošana prasa vairāk laika. Kā arī tika noskaidroti tie uzziņu avotu veidi, kuri tiek izmantoti visbiežāk un kuri savu funkciju labāk pilda drukātā, nevis elektroniskā veidā un otrādi.Aim of bachelor thesis "Use of printed reference sources for information search" is to find out how the main printed reference sources are used and how much it has been affected by modern technologies. Questionnaires and interviews carried out within the study allow comparison on views of two sides - the users view and the librarians view. The study results confirms the hypothesis that the printed reference sources are used less than electronical, because they are more difficult to access and require more time. It was also ascertained which types of sources are used most frequently and which performs their functions better in printed, not electronical format, and vice versa.
