Labdarības organizācijas ROTARY International nozīme sociālo problēmu risināšanā un darbība Latvijā

Abstract

Diplomdarba „Labdarības organizācijas ROTARY International nozīme sociālo problēmu risināšanā un darbība Latvijā” mērķis ir noteikt un novērtēt nevalstisko organizāciju spēju un darbības nozīmīgumu sociālo problēmu risināšanā. Tā ietvaros noteikti sociālo problēmu – nabadzības un sociālās atstumtības rašanās cēloņi, problēmu aktualitāte un reālais stāvoklis mūsdienās, ietverot arī iespējamos šo problēmu risināšanas veidus un atbildīgās institūcijas. Darbā izskatīti konkrētas NVO ROTARY International darbības virzieni un nozīme sociālo problēmu risināšanā. Diplomdarbs sastāv no trīs daļām, kura pirmajā daļā ietverti teorētiskie aspekti par sociālām problēmām pasaulē un Latvijā, piedāvāti arī iespējamie risinājumi. Otrajā daļā apskatīta konkrētas NVO darbība sociālo problēmu risināšanas jomā, tās mērķi, uzdevumi, pamatprincipi, rašanās vēsture, programmas un realizētie labdarības projekti. Trešā daļa sevī ietver ROTARY vēsturiskos attīstības aspektus Latvijā, organizācijas publicitātes analīzi un realizēto projektu apskatu. Darba apjoms ir 127 lapas, tajā iekļautas 5 tabulas un 6 attēli, izstrādes gaitā izmantoti 32 informatīvi avoti. The Diploma paper’s „The charity organization’s ROTARY International importance in social problem resolving and activity in Latvia” aim is to establish and assess the ability and activity importantce of NGO in resolvingsocial problems. The Diploma paper includes social problems – the reasons of poverty and social castaway rising, urgency and the real situation or these problems, including the possible ways and the institutions who are responsible for resolving the problems. The work reviews the concrete NGO ROTARY International’s activity directions and importance in resolving social problems. Diploma paper consists of three parts, the first one includs teoretical aspects of social problems all over the world and in Latvia, there are mentioned some possible ways of resolving the last ones. The second part reviews the concrete NGO activity in the social problem field, the aims of organization, exercises, princips, history, the programms and realization of projects. The third part involve the historical aspects of ROTARY development in Latvia, the publicity of organization and the review of charity projects. Diploma paper consists of 127 pages, contains 5 tables and 6 pictures, the number of information source used in the work is 32.
