Angļu valoda maziem bērniem

Abstract

Izglītības eksperti uzsver, ka svešvalodas bērniem jāsāk mācīt pēc iespējas agrāk. Tādēļ ir svarīgi uzzināt labākās un piemērotākās angļu valodas mācīšanas metodes skolēniem pirmajā klasē un agrāk. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot visefektīvāko angļu valodas vārdu krājuma mācīšanas metodi maziem bērniem. Pētījuma hipotēze: “Vispārējas fiziskas reakcijas metode nodrošina labākus rezultātus mācot maziem bērniem jaunos vārdus kā Dabiskā pieeja” Darbā izmantotās pētījuma metodes – intervija, mācību eksperiments. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka hipotēze netika apstiprināta, abas metodes nodrošina labus rezultātus jauno vārdu mācīšanā, taču labākā metode mācot angļu valodas vārdus ir vairāku metožu apvienojums.

The experts of education have emphasized that it is essential to start teaching foreign languages to children as early as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to acknowledge the best approach and method of teaching English to young children in the 1st grade and earlier. The research is done in order to clarify the most effective English teaching method of teaching lexis to young learners. The following hypothesis has been formulated: “The Total Physical Response method produces results superior to Communicative approach in teaching lexis to young learners.” The following research methods are used – interview and teaching experiment. The research results show that the hypothesis has been proven to be wrong. Both the methods produce good results; however the best method of teaching English lexis to young learners is a mix of many methods.
