Vadonība un sociālās attiecības kuršu sabiedrībā vēlajā dzelzs laikmetā (9. – 12.gs.)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs veltīts kuršu vēlā dzelzs laikmeta sabiedrību varas un sociālās organizācijas izpētei. Šī tēma Latvijas arheoloģijā ir maz pētīta, lielākā daļa pētījumu sociālās arheoloģijas ietvaros ir veltīti Austrumlatvijai, kur arī kopumā ir veikti vairāk arheoloģisko izrakumu. Darba mērķis ir veikt padziļinātu sociālo procesu pētniecību, galvenokārt, uzsvaru liekot uz varas modeļiem Rietumlatvijas kuršu etniskās grupas teritorijā sākot no 9. gadsimta līdz 12. gadsimta beigām. Darbā iegūtie rezultāti galvenokārt balstās uz arheoloģisko vietu – pilskalnu un apbedījumu – pārskatu izpēti, rakstīto avotu analizēšanu un ideju balstīšanu un teorētisko literatūru par sociālo arheoloģiju.

The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the study of the power and social organization of the Curonian Late Iron Age societies. This topic has been studied less in Latvian archaeology, most of the research in the field of social archaeology is devoted to Eastern Latvia, where the majority of archaeological excavations have already been carried out. The aim of the work is to carry out in-depth research of social processes, mainly focusing on the models of power in the territory of the Curonian ethnic group of Western Latvia from the 9th century to the end of the 12th century. The results obtained in the work are mainly based on the study of reviews of archaeological sites - hillforts and burials, analysis of written sources, and substantiation of ideas and theoretical literature on social archaeology.
