Vides zinātnes speciālistu pieprasījums darba tirgū

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Vides zinātnes speciālistu pieprasījums darba tirgū”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt vides zinātnes speciālistu darba tirgu Latvijā, noskaidrot atbilstību akadēmiskās izglītības programmām un darba tirgum Latvijā un salīdzināt Latvijas Universitātē realizēto studiju programmu ar citu Eiropas augstskolu vides zinātnes studiju programmām. Pamatojoties uz pētījumu rezultātiem, konstatēt programmas atbilstību darba tirgus vajadzībām, atklāt trūkumus un nepilnības, kā arī izstrādāt secinājumus, kas varētu uzlabot Latvijas Universitātes Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultātes Vides zinātnes nodaļas studiju programmas. Pētījumā secināts, ka šobrīd vides zinātnes absolventu skaits un viņu zināšanu līmenis kopumā atbilst darba tirgus pieprasījumam Latvijā. Darbā tiek raksturoti vides zinātnes speciālistu darba tirgus dažādi aspekti. The aim of the present thesis is to research the field of labor market for environmental science specialists, to investigate the conformity of the academic education programs to the needs of the labor market in Latvia and to compare the study programs carried out at the University of Latvia to the similar programs at the other European Universities. Taking the results of the research as the bases, to draw the conclusions about the conformity of the program to the demands of the labor market as well as draw conclusions that would improve the environmental study program at the University of Latvia, Faculty of the Geography and Earth Science. The main finding of the research is that presently the number of environmental science specialists and their level of knowledge correspond to the demand of the labor market in Latvia.
