Bērnības vardarbības pieredzes saistība ar problemātisko alkohola lietošanu

Abstract

Šajā darbā tika pētīta iespējamā saikne starp bērnībā piedzīvoto vardarbību un problemātisku alkohola lietošanu. 60 personu izlasē (N=60) demogrāfisko sastāvu veidoja 30 % vīriešu (n=18), 68 % sieviešu (n=41) un 2 % citu dzimumu (n=1). Izmantojot Bērnības Traumas aptauju (CTQ) un Alkohola Lietošanas Traucējumu Identifikācijas testu (AUDIT) kā pētniecības metodes, darba mērķis bija izprast iepriekšminēto faktoru savstarpējo saistību. Rezultātos secināts, ka acīmredzamas saiknes starp problemātisku alkohola lietošanu un bērnības vardarbības pieredzi šajā respondentu izlasē nav. Tas liecina par citu faktoru ietekmi vai par nepieciešamību veikt plašāka mēroga pētījumus, lai šo saikni izpētītu sīkāk.

This study examined the potential connection between childhood violence experiences and problematic alcohol use in a sample of 60 individuals (N=60), with a demographic composition of 30% male (n=18), 68% female (n=41), and 2% non-binary (n=1). Employing the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) and the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) as research methods, the study aimed to understand the correlation between these factors. The findings conclude that, within this sample, there is no evident connection between problematic alcohol use and experiences of childhood violence, suggesting the influence of other factors or the need for larger scale studies to explore this relationship further.
