Komunikācija, izmantojot internetu, vidusskolēnu patstāvīgās mācīšanās prasmju attīstībai

Abstract

The aim of the research was to study the ways of developing Secondary school students’ autonomous learning by engaging in Internet based collaboration projects. The case study was carried out in cooperative school “Didaxis” in north of Portugal, furthermore as the basis of the case study was an international Internet based collaboration project, the same procedure was also hold in Salacgriva Secondary School. In order to collect the data, following data collection methods were used – two self designed questionnaires and the reflection sheets. The data of the research revealed that the students like to use the computers and moreover the Internet tools in their learning processes. These tools leave a positive impact on their homework performance, especially when homework is done in collaboration with the students from abroad. Secondly, the teacher’s role in developing students’ autonomy is very important and each task should be carefully revised and analyzed in order to achieve the aims. That is why the conducted case study gives a detailed description of each performed task within the framework of Internet based collaboration project.

Pētījuma mērķis bija rast veidus, kā uzlabot skolēnu patstāvīgo mācīšanos, iesaistot viņus uz internetu balstītos sadarbības projektos. Atsevišķa gadījuma pētījums tika veikts kooperatīvajā skolā „Didaxis”, kas atrodas Portugāles ziemeļos, taču tā kā pētījuma pamatā bija uz internetu balstīts sadarbības projekts, tad tāda pati procedūra tika veikta arī Salacgrīvas vidusskolā. Projekts ilga trīs mēnešus, no 2008. gada februāra līdz maijam un tajā piedalījās 24 skolēni. Lai iegūtu informāciju, sekojošas datu vākšanas metodes tika izmantotas – divas pašas veidotas anketas un pārdomu lapas. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti atklāja, ka skolēni vēlas izmantot datoru un vēl vairāk internetu savā mācību procesā. To izmantošana atstāj pozitīvu iespaidu uz skolēnu mājas darbu izstrādi, it īpaši, kad darbs tiek veikts sadarbībā ar skolēniem no ārzemēm. Otrkārt, skolotāja loma skolēnu patstāvīgās mācīšanās attīstībā ir ļoti svarīga un ikkatram uzdevumam vajadzētu būt kārtīgi pārdomātam un izanalizētam, lai tas sasniegtu sev uzstādītos mērķus. Tieši tāpēc veiktais atsevišķais pētījums sniedz detalizētus uzdevumu aprakstus, kas tika veikti interneta balstītā projekta ietvaros.
