Abstract
Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta vintāžas apģērbu vērtība, izmantojot Rīgas vintāžas veikalu pircēju un pārdevēju patērētāju praksi. Galvenā problēma ir noskaidrot, kādi faktori veido vintāžas vērtību cilvēkiem un iemeslus, kāpēc viņi dod priekšroku veciem apģērbiem. Pētījuma pamatā ir lietu patēriņa izpēte, ņemot vērā apģērba lomu identitātes veidošanā un sociālajā mijiedarbībā. Analizējot intervijas un novērojumus, varu secināt, ka vintāžas apģērbs tiek uztverts ne tikai kā patēriņa prece, bet arī kā pašizpausmes elements, alternatīva ātrajai modei un veids, kā atbalstīt ekoloģisku patēriņu. Pētījums parāda, ka vintāžas apģērba izvēle atspoguļo izmaiņas attieksmi pret patēriņu un modi mūsdienu sabiedrībā.
This bachelor thesis explores the value of vintage clothing through the consumer practices of buyers and sellers of vintage shops in Riga. The main problem is to determine what factors shape the value of vintage for people and the reasons why they prefer old clothes. The research is based on the study of the consumption of things, considering the role of clothing in the formation of identity and social interaction. Through the analysis of interviews and observations, it can be observed that vintage clothing is perceived not only as a commoditized product, but also as an element of self-expression, an alternative to fast fashion, and a way to support ecological consumption. The study shows that the choice of vintage clothing reflects changes in attitudes towards consumption and fashion in modern society.
