| dc.description.abstract | H.pylori virulences faktoriem ir būtiska nozīme kuņģa vēža attīstībā. Viens no biežāk pētītajiem H.pylori virulences faktoriem ir ar citotoksīnu saistītais gēns (cytotoxin associated gene – cagA). Šis gēns kodē CagA proteīnu, kura darbības mehānisms veicina kuņģa vēža attīstību. Pētījuma mērķis bija seroloģiski noteikt CagA proteīna izplatību kuņģa vēža pacientiem Latvijā, salīdzinot to ar kontroles grupas datiem. H.pylori CagA izplatība kuņģa vēža pacientiem ir augstāka, kā kontroles grupā. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | H.pylori virulence factors take an important role in the development of gastric cancer. One of the most studied virulence factors is cytotoxin associated gene – cagA. This gene encodes CagA protein, whose mechanism of action contributes the development of gastric cancer. Aim of research was to serologically detect CagA protein prevalence among gastric cancer patients in Latvia, compared with control group data. H.pylori CagA prevalence for gastric cancer patients is higher than in control group. | en_US |
