Ekstremālo klimatisko parādību (gaisa temperatūras, atmosfēras nokrišņu) mainības un ietekmes raksturs Latvijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika pētītas ekstremālo klimatisko parādību – atmosfēras nokrišņu un gaisa temperatūras – izmaiņu tendences, kā arī ekstremāla karstuma ietekmes raksturs Latvijā. Darbā klimatisko parādību izmaiņu tendenču noteikšanai izmantoti klimata pārmaiņu raksturošanas nolūkā izveidoti klimata indeksi, kā arī noteikti šīm parādībām raksturīgie atmosfēras cirkulācijas tipi. Balstoties uz citu valstu pieredzi, darba gaitā tika analizēta ekstremāli augstu gaisa temperatūru ietekme uz mirstību Latvijā, kā arī novērtētas ilgstoša karstuma ietekmes izpausmes. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām un apakšnodaļām, tā kopējais apjoms ir 97 lpp. Darbā ietvertas 10 tabulas un 35 attēli, izmantoti 67 literatūras avoti. Atslēgas vārdi: klimata mainība, ekstremālās klimatiskās parādības, karstuma viļņi, mirstība, atmosfēras cirkulācijas tipi.

This bachelor’s thesis work contains the results of the investigation of fluctuations of the extreme climatic events – precipitation and air temperature - and the impacts of extremely hot weather in Latvia. For the determination of the fluctuation trends of the climatic events several climate indices, developed for the characterization of the climate change, were used in this study. The characteristic large scale atmospheric circulation patterns were determined for the extreme climatic events. The analysis of the impacts of extremely high air temperatures on the mortality rates and the assessment of the impacts of prolonged heat in Latvia was built up on the experience of other countries and was also developed during this study. The thesis work consists of four chapters, its total volume is 97 pages. The thesis work contains 10 tables, 35 pictures and 67 references.
