Priekšlikumi urbāno kopienas dārzu plānošanai un pārvaldībai Rīgas vēsturiskajā centrā un tā aizsardzības zonā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Priekšlikumi urbāno kopienu dārzu plānošanai un pārvaldībai Rīgas vēsturiskajā centrā un tā aizsardzības zonā” analizēta iespēja attīstīt urbāno kopienu dārzkopību kā ilgtspējīgas pilsētvides veidošanas instrumentu. Darbā veikta 377 neizmantotu zemes gabalu izvērtēšana Rīgas vēsturiskajā centrā un tā aizsardzības zonā, izmantojot ģeotelpisko analīzi un vairāku kritēriju novērtējumu, lai identificētu piemērotākās vietas kopienu dārzu izveidei. Darbs balstīts uz starptautisku un vietējo piemēru analīzi, uzsverot kopienu dārzu nozīmi sociālās saliedētības, vides kvalitātes un pilsētas mikroklimata uzlabošanā. Sniegtas rekomendācijas juridiskā ietvara pilnveidei, pārvaldības un finansēšanas modeļu attīstībai, kā arī pašvaldības un kopienu sadarbības mehānismiem, kas vērsti uz urbāno kopienas dārzu attīstību gan Rīgas vēsturiskajā centrā un tā aizsardzības zonā, gan pilsētā kopumā. Pētījuma rezultāti sniedz praktiski izmantojamus priekšlikumus Rīgas pašvaldībai un citām Latvijas pilsētām, kas vēlas veicināt zaļo teritoriju pieejamību un iedzīvotāju līdzdalību pilsētvides attīstībā.

The Master’s thesis “Proposals for planning and management of urban community gardens in Riga’s historical centre and its protection zone” analyses the possibility of developing urban community gardening as a tool for creating a sustainable urban environment. The work evaluates 377 unused land plots in the historic centre of Riga and its protection zone, using geospatial analysis and a multi-criteria assessment to identify the most suitable places for the creation of community gardens. The work is based on an analysis of international and local examples, emphasizing the importance of community gardens in improving social cohesion, environmental quality and urban microclimate. Recommendations are provided for the improvement of the legal framework, the development of management and financing models, as well as mechanisms for cooperation between the municipality and communities, aimed at the development of urban community gardens both in the historic centre of Riga and its protection zone, and in the city as a whole. The results of the study provide practical proposals for the Riga municipality and other Latvian cities that want to promote the availability of green areas and the participation of residents in the development of the urban environment.
