IDIOMĀTISKIE IZTEICIENI ANGĻU VALODAS PRASMJU PILNVEIDEI VIDUSSKOLAS AUGSTĀKĀ LĪMEŅA SKOLĒNIEM

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir uzsvērt angļu valodas idiomātisko izteicienu zināšanu nozīmi vidusskolas augstākā līmeņa skolēniem. Tiek piedāvāti praktiski materiāli darba autores izstrādātu stundu plānu veidā vidusskolā strādājošajiem skolotājiem. Pētījums sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmajā daļā tiek identificēti un analizēti konkrēti leksiskie elementi. Otrajā daļā aplūkota šo elementu īstenošana, ievērojot dažādus būtiskus aspektus. Izvēlētā pētniecības metode ir gadījuma izpēte. Fokusgrupa, anketēšana, un atgriezeniskās saites veidlapas ir izvēlētās datu vākšanas metodes. Gadījuma izpētes veikšanai tika izveidota fokusa grupa vienā no Rīgas vidusskolām. Rezultātā studenti, kas piedalījās gadījuma izpētē, sniedza atsauksmes ar vērtīgiem ieteikumiem un rekomendācijām.

This Paper is written in order to emphasize the importance of the knowledge of English idioms by secondary school high achievers. It offers practical materials, in the form of lesson plans developed by the author of the Paper for teachers working in secondary school. The research consists of two parts. In the first part, particular lexical elements are identified and analysed. The second part deals with the implementation of those elements, discussing various considerable aspects. The case study is chosen as the method of research. A focus group, questionnaire and feedback form are the data collection methods. For conducting the case study, a focus group was assembled in one of secondary schools in Riga. As the result, feedback with valuable recommendations and suggestions was provided by students participating in the case study.
