Abstract
Skolu bibliotēku attīstība, automatizācija un iekļaušanās VVBIS ir nepieciešama, lai arī skolu bibliotēkas strādātu pēc vienotiem standartiem un efektīvi nodrošinātu bibliotekāros procesus. Tā kā līdzšinējai skolu bibliotēku automatizācijas sistēmai LIIS vairs netiek nodrošināta uzturēšana, tad ir izstrādāts jauns risinājums BIS SKOLU ALISE.
Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt, cik daudz Latvijas skolu bibliotēku ir iekļāvušās VVBIS, kādus no BIS piedāvātajiem moduļiem izmanto un cik daudz bibliotekāro procesu ir automatizēti.
Galvenie ieguvumi – ir apzināta situācija skolu bibliotēku automatizācijā, automatizēto procesu izmantošanā un pievienošanās VVBIS.

Development, automation and integration in Unified Library Information System are very important for school libraries, to support common standards and effective ensure processes of libraries. Since the maintenance for the previous school library automation system LIIS is no longer assured, then a new solution BIS SCHOOL ALISE has been developed. A target of research was to study how many school libraries are included in USLIS, what modules of LIS SCHOOL ALISE are used and how many processes of library are automated. The main gains are – to study situation of school libraries’ automation, the use of automated processes and integration to USLIS.
