Abstract
Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija izstrādāt tīmekļa lietotni vienai no biomedicīnas centra pētnieciskajām grupām, kas paredzēta ģenētisko datu uzglabāšanai un apstrādei. Tīmekļa lietotnei bija jābūt savietojamai ar esošajiem datiem, kas tiek glabāti Excel datnēs, kā arī jānodrošina iespēja veikt izmaiņas datu struktūrā nākotnē, saglabājot esošo pētījumu rezultātus. Liela uzmanība tika pievērsta ātrdarbībai pie lieliem datu apjomiem ar sarežģīto datu struktūru un lietojamībai, lai atvieglotu esošo pētījumu rezultātu apstrādi un pievienošanu.
The objective of this paper was to develop a web application for Biomedical Research and Study Centre for genetic data storage and processing. This web system needed to be compatible with the existing data which was stored in Excel spreadsheets and also to allow making changes to the data structure in the future if needed, keeping the existing data intact. The main focus was performance with large amounts of data using the complicated data structure and usability to ease processing of the genetic data.
