Abstract
Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp politiskajām orientācijām, pamatvērtībām un attieksmi pret obligāto militāro dienestu. Pētījuma izlasi veido 52 respondenti vecumā no 20 līdz 56 gadiem (M = 31,52; SD = 11,54), no tiem 42 (81%) sievietes un 10 (19%) vīrieši. Datu ievākšanai tika izmantota Švarca Atjaunotā Vērtību Aptauja (Revised Portrait Value Questionnaire; PVQ-RR; Schwartz, 2012), Latvijas Sociālā Konservatīvisma Skala (LSKS; Trups-Kalne & Dimdins, 2011, 2014), Atbalsta Valsts Lomai Skala (AVLS; Dimdins, 2012, 2014) un jautājumi par attieksmi pret obligāto militāro dienestu. Korelāciju analīze norāda uz statistiski nozīmīgām korelācijām starp attieksmi pret obligāto militāro dienestu un politisko orientāciju, pamatvērtībām un politiskajām orientācijām un pamatvērtībām un attieksmi pret obligāto militāro dienestu.
The aim of this study was to investigate whether a correlation exists between political orientations, basic values and attitude towards compulsory military service. The study sample consisted of 52 respondents aged 20 to 56 years old (M = 31,52; SD = 11,54), of which 42 (81%) are women and 10 (19%) are men. Revised Portrait Value Questionnaire (PVQ-RR), (Schwartz, 2012), Latvian Social Conservatism Scale (LSCS), (Trups-Kalne & Dimdins, 2011, 2014), Support for State Role Scale (SSRS), (Dimdins, 2012, 2014) and questions about attitude towards compulsory military service were used for data collection. Correlation analysis indicates that statistically significant correlations exist between attitude towards compulsory military service and political orientation, basic values and political orientations and basic values and attitude towards compulsory military service.
