Tehnoignorances saistība ar apmierinātību ar romantiskajām attiecībām un paškontroli

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot saistības starp tehnoignoranci, apmierinātību ar romantiskajām attiecībām un paškontroli. Pētījumā piedalījās 233 respondenti (19–57 gadi), kuri aizpildīja attiecību apmierinātības aptauju (Benke, 2009), tehnoignorances skalu (Chotpitayasunondh & Douglas, 2018) un īso paškontroles skalu (Tangney et. al., 2004). Rezultāti uzrāda, ka apmierinātībai ar attiecībām nav statistiski nozīmīgu saistību ar tehnoignoranci un paškontroli. Pozitīvas saistības konstatētas starp uztverto tehnoignoranci un tās apakšskalu – uztvertajām normām, kā arī starp paškontroli un vecumu, attiecību ilgumu un bērnu skaitu. Tehnoignorance negatīvi korelē ar paškontroli. Vienīgais nozīmīgais apmierinātības ar romantiskajām attiecībām prognozētājs ir vecums, kas izskaidro 9,5% apmierinātības ar romantiskajām attiecībām variācijas.

This master’s thesis explored the relationship between phubbing, romantic relationship satisfaction, and self-control. A total of 233 participants (aged 19–57) completed measures of relationship satisfaction (Benke, 2009), phubbing (Chotpitayasunondh & Douglas, 2018), and self-control (Tangney et al., 2004). Results showed no significant link between relationship satisfaction and either phubbing or self-control. Phubbing correlated positively with perceived norms and negatively with self-control. Self-control was positively associated with age, relationship duration, and number of children. Age was the only significant predictor of relationship satisfaction, explaining 9.5% of its variance.
