Sociālekonomisko faktoru ietekmes novērtējums 2001., 2005., 2009. g. pašvaldību vēlēšanās

Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek aplūkota ekonomiskās un politiskās līdzdalības kopsakarību Latvijas pašvaldībās 2001., 2005. Un 2009.gada pašvaldību vēlēšanās. Darbā vēlēšanu aktivitāte tiek vērtēta reģionālā perspektīvā salīdzinot dažādus sociālekonomiskos indikatorus, tādējādi analizējot, kuriem no minētajiem rādītājiem ir lielāka ietekme uz politisko līdzdalību. Darba kvantitatīvajā daļā tiek izmantoti pieejamie dati par vēlēšanām (vēlēšanu aktivitāte. partiju konkurence) un teritorijas attīstības indekss (kā ekonomisko attīstību raksturojošs lielums), kā arī to veidojošās komponentes: iekšzemes kopprodukts, iedzīvotāju ienākuma nodoklis, bezdarba līmenis, iedzīvotāju skaita izmaiņas administratīvajā teritorijā pēdējo piecu galu laikā un iedzīvotāju blīvums pašvaldībā. Pētījums atklāj, ka pastāv sakarības sstarp ekonomisko attšitību, politisko konkurenci un vēlēsanu aktivitāti, be pētījums norāda, ka ekonomiskajai attšitībai nav tiešas ietekmes uz vēlēšanu demokrātiskumu.

Paper analyzes relationship between socio-economic factors and political participation in local government elections in year 2001, 2005. and 2009 in Latvia. The electoral activity is evaluated in regional perspective by comparing various socio-economic indicators, thereby analyzing which of these measures have a greater impact on political participation. Working the quantitative part of the available data are used for elections (electoral activity. Lots of competition), and territory development index (as in the economic development of the characteristic size), as well as its constituent components: the gross domestic product, personal income tax, unemployment, population changes within local government during last five years and the population density in the municipality. Research reveals that there is consistent relationship between economical development, political completion and participation. Research concludes that there is no abvious relationship with level of democracy in local government elections.
