Abstract
Antra Randoha
The qualification paper is devoted to the topic “Promoting the development of hand musculature in the pedagogical process” considering that in the pedagogical process it is necessary to use new innovations that not only promote the development of the child and the wold as the known and traditional developmental activities, but also promote the development of small muscles of children through the senses and the expamsion of the creative world through the use and application of various materials in play. The aim of the work is to theoretically and practically explore the possibilities of promoting the development of the musculature of the hand in the pedagogical process of the younger pre-scool children using the light table concluding that the use of the light table is a good tool in the pedagogical work to promote the development of the small muscles of the children by activating the unrestricted choice to work with light tables. The study consists of two parts – theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, based on the work of different authors, studies and theoretical knowledge of the youngest pre-school age group (I grade in pre-school education) literature analysis on the development of small motor skills and the influence of light tables on children’s development and their benefical effects as well as their impact on development of brain activity. In the empirical part creating a child friendly enviroment which created the conditions for the development of tiny motor skills using light tables and various materials was made a child observation and research on the development of small motors with four criteria. The study was conducted in the youngest pre-school age group with 14 children, all aged between 1,6 and 3 years. Structure of the qualification paper: annotation in Latvian and English, theoretical and research part with subdivisions, recommendations, conclusions, list of udes literature and other sources, appendices. Volume of the qualification paper: 49 pages, 3 tables, 16 pictures, 2 appendices. The thesis uses 36 sources. Author: Jolanta Ģērmane Supervisor: Lecturer, Dr.paed. Antra Randoha
