Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Urbānā semantika 20. gs. 20.–30. gadu latviešu dzejā” atspoguļo trīs latviešu dzejnieku – Austras Skujiņas, Jāņa Plauža un Pētera Ķikuta paustos sociālos pretstatus 20.–30. gadu autoru urbānajā dzejā, atklājot industriālā kapitālisma izraisīto sociālo nevienlīdzību sabiedrībā, daudzskaitlīgo proletariātu neapmierinātību ar esošo stāvokli, kā arī kreiso un revolucionāro ideju izplatīšanos tā laika kontekstā. Pētījuma uzdevumi ir piemeklēt atbilstošu teorētisko literatūru par urbāno semantiku un tā laika literāro kontekstu latviešu dzejā, atlasīt piemērotus dzejas krājumus un semiotiski analizēt urbānos tēlus autoru lirikā, uzmanību koncentrējot uz sociālo pretstatu reflekciju.

Bachelor's thesis "Urban Semantics in Latvian Poetry in the 20th – 30th Years of the 20th Century" reflects the social contrasts expressed by three Latvian poets – Austra Skujiņa, Jānis Plaudis and Pēteris Ķikuts in their their urban poetry during the 20th–30th years of the 20th century revealing the social inequality in society caused by industrial capitalism, the dissatisfaction of the numerous proletariat with the existing situation, as well as the spread of leftist and revolutionary ideas in the context of that time. The tasks of the research are to find the theoretical literature on urban semantics and the literary context of that time in Latvian poetry, to select suitable collections of poetry and to semiotically analyze urban images in the poetry of authors while paying attention to the reflection of social contrasts.
