Abstract
The master's thesis examines the existing piano visualization solutions and creates a realtime piano visualization program using the latest technologies. The aims of the paper are as follows: to look at the positives and negatives of existing visualization solutions, to find the best available way to automatically generate finger positions for each note from an electronic piano MIDI file, and to create a piano visualization program based on the information. As a result of the master's thesis, the existing solutions were compared and a program was created, the input of which receives a MIDI file played on an electronic piano, the notes of which are distributed to each hand manually and the output visualizes the piano playing in real time.
