Abstract
Šī maģistra darba mērķis bija noteikt, kādas saistības pastāv starp uztverto negatīvo dzemdību pieredzi, vecāku kompetences izjūtu un lēmumu pieņemšanas stiliem jaunajām māmiņām bērna dzīves pirmo 2 gadu laikā. Pētījumā piedalījās 81 sieviete vecumā no 21 līdz 40 gadiem.
The aim of this master's thesis was to explore the relationship between perceived negative childbirth experience, parental sense of competence, and decision-making styles among new mothers during the first two years of their child's life. The study involved 81 women aged 21 to 40 years. The results indicate that parental sense of competence and both of its subscales have negative correlations with perceived negative childbirth experience and both of its subscales, as well as with complications during childbirth. Mediation analysis conducted within the study shows that satisfaction with the parental role fully mediates the relationship between the perceived childbirth experience and the use of Hypervigilance as a decision-making style.
