Apziņa paredzoši kodētas uztveres hierarhijā

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir iztirzāt un izvērtēt šobrīd kognitīvajās zinātnēs un filosofijā aktuālās paredzošās kodēšanas teorijas implikācijas attiecībā uz cilvēka apziņu. Konkrēti tiek pētīti fenomenālie un pieejas apziņu veidi un šo apziņas veidu saturs saistībā ar uztveres sistēmām smadzenēs. Pētījuma gaitā tiek aizstāvētas divas tēzes: pirmkārt, fenomenālās apziņas saturs paredzoši kodētas sistēmas ietvaros ir izkliedētas, bagātīgas un hierarhiskas reprezentācijas, un, otrkārt, ka šīs reprezentācijas ir vienādi strukturētas funkcionāli atšķirīgos kontekstos, padarot fenomenālās un integratīvās apziņas saturu par strukturāli vienlīdzīgiem.The aim of this paper is to discuss and evaluate the implications of the currently popular theory of predictive coding on human consciousness. In particular, the phenomenal and access consciousness are researched in their connection with the systems of perception in the brain. Two theses are defended in the course of the paper: first, that the contents of phenomenal consciousness in a predictively coded system consist of distributed, rich and hierarchical representations, and, second, that these representations are structured in the same manner across different functional contexts, making the contents of phenomenal and integrative consciousness structurally equivalent.
