Mobilās komunikācijas loma jauniešu sociālo tīklu veidošanā

Abstract

Pētījumā ir aplūkoti un analizēti jauniešu (vecumā no 20 līdz 25 gadiem) ikdienas mobilās komunikācijas (zvanu un īsziņu) paradumi. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādā veidā mobilie telefonu ietekmē jauniešu ikdienas komunikāciju, vai un kā palīdz veidot jauniešu sociālo kapitālu, kā arī dibināt un attīstīt saites neformālos jauniešu sociālajos tīklos. Bakalaura darba pirmajā daļā iekļauta teorija par sociālajiem tīkliem, sociālo kapitālu un mobilo tālruņu ietekmi uz tiem. Pētījuma praktiskajā daļā ir iekļauta desmit daļēji strukturēto interviju ar jauniešiem analīze. Respondentiem septiņas dienas bija arī jāpilda dienasgrāmata, kuras analīze arī iekļauta pētījumā. Pētījuma rezultātos ir secināts, ka mobilais tālrunis jauniešiem ir nozīmīgs tā portatīvuma dēļ, un pagaidām ir neaizvietojama jauniešu ikdienas dzīves sastāvdaļa.

The survey analyzes habits of everyday mobile communication (calls and text messages) of youth (aged 20 to 25 years). The study aims to clarify how mobile telephone affects their everyday communication, whether and how assist young people to build social capital, as well as establish and develop bounds inside of informal social networks. The survey’s first part includes theory of social networks, social capital and the impact of mobile phones on them. On the practical part analysis of ten semi-structured interviews with young people is included. Respondents also had to fill a diary for seven days, which also is included in analysis. The results have concluded that mobile phone is important for young people because of its portability, and so far has been invaluable for young people's everyday lives.
