Sabriedrības līdzestība glaukomas profilaksē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek noskaidrota sabiedrības līdzestība glaukomas slimības laicīgai diagnostikai. Autore pievērš uzmanību sabiedrības attieksmei pret veselības uzturēšanu. Laicīga un regulāra redzes pārbaude sekmētu laicīgu glaukomas slimības diagnostiku. Glaukoma ir progresējoša neiropātija, kurai raksturīgas izmaiņas redzes laukā un redzes nervā, kas rada redzes pasliktināšanos un iespējamu aklumu. Pētījuma mērķis - noskaidrot sabiedrības līdzestību glaukomas slimības profilaksē. Pētījumā tiek analizēta literatūra par glaukomas slimību un tās profilaksi. Pavisam kopā 30 avoti. Empīriskā daļā ar interneta vidē veiktu aptauju tika noskaidrota sabiedrības informētība par glaukomas slimību, atbildība un izpratne par savu un veselību. Pētījuma rezultātā hipotēze daļēji apstiprinās. Atslēgas vārdi: līdzestība, glaukomas, profilaksē.

In this study, patient compliance is researched and examined for timely diagnostics of glaukoma. The author pays special attention to society's attitude against health maintenance. Regular and timely eye examination would promote early diagnostics of glaucoma disease. Glaucoma is a proggressing neuropathy, which can be described as changes in eyeshot and the sight nerve, that results in vision worsening and possible blindness. Aim of the study - to examine patient compliance in prevention of glaucoma disease. In this research different literature sources are analyzed about Glaucoma disease and it's prevention. In total 30 literature sources were used. In the empirical part author used questionnaire in the internet, where society's attitude, awareness and responsibility about Glaucome disease was measured, as well as, understanding about personal and society's health level. In the result of the research, hypothesis was partially approved. Key words: patient compliance, glaukoma, prevention.
