Filmu “Zvejnieka dēls” (1940) un “Zvejnieka dēls” (1957) salīdzinošā struktūranalīze pēc Kloda Levī-Strosa un Rolāna Barta teorijām

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir veikt struktūranalīzi filmām “Zvejnieka dēls” (1940) un “Zvejnieka dēls” (1957) pēc Kloda Levī-Strosa un Rolāna Barta mīta strukturālisma teorijām un identificēt filmu satura līdzības ar tā laika valdošajām ideoloģijām. Darba pirmajā nodaļā ir apskatītas abas mīta teorijas, Kārļa Ulmaņa ideoloģija un Padomju ideoloģija. Otrajā nodaļā, vadoties pēc aprakstītajām teorijām, ir analizētas abas filmas. Trešajā nodaļā ir parādīta abu filmu struktūru līdzība ar tā laika valdošajām ideoloģijām. Abas “Zvejnieka dēls” ekranizācijas atšķiras pēc stāsta struktūras; tās reprezentē atšķirīgu pasaules skatījumu un vērtību sistēmu, jo ir tikušas uzņemtas dažādās politiskās iekārtās ar atšķirīgām ideoloģijām.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to perform a structural analysis of the films “Zvejnieka dels” (1940) and “Zvejnieka dels” (1957) based on the theories of myth put forward by Claude Lévi-Strauss and Roland Barthes, as well as to find similarities between the structure of the films and the dominant ideologies of the time. In the first section an overview of the myth theories is presented, as well as the basic traits of Karlis Ulmanis’ ideology and Soviet ideology. In the second section, both films are analyzed according to the previously mentioned theories. In the third section, the film structures and dominant ideologies of the time are compared. Both “Zvejnieka dels” film adaptations have different story structures; they present a different view on the world and differing value systems because the films were made under different political regimes that had different ideologies.
