Montessori praktiskās dzīves un sensorikas materiālu izmantošana 3-4 gadus vecu bērnu patstāvības attīstībā

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir popularizēt Marijas Montessori izstrādātos mācību materiālus un pedagoģiskos pamatprincipus saistībā ar mūsdienu straujo dzīves ritmu un jaunās pirmsskolas izglītības vadlīniju ieviešanu. Darbā izceltas nozīmīgākās īpašības un prasmes, kuras ir par pamatu patstāvīgas personas veidošanā, un to attīstības veicināšanas iespējas. Darbā pētīts kā M. Montessori veidotie praktiskās dzīves un sensoriskas materiāli veicina šo īpašību un prasmju attīstību 3-4 gadus veciem bērniem; kā šie materiāli ar savu specifisko uzbūvi atbilst pētnieku atziņām par mācību procesa efektivitātes veicināšanu. Darbā apskatīta arī vides un pedagoga nozīmība un šo trīs faktoru mijiedarbība. Pētījuma salīdzināts, kā vide un materiāli ietekmē patstāvības veidošanai nozīmīgo īpašību attīstību. Secināts, ka ne tikai paši materiāli, bet arī vides iekārtojums un Montessori pedagoģisko pamatprincipu ievērošana skolotāja darbībā spēle lomu patstāvības attīstībā. Noslēgumā atzīts, ka bērnu patstāvības attīstībai Montessori materiālus ir ieteicams integrēt arī citās izglītības iestādēs.

Title: The use of Montessori practical life and sensorial material in developing independence in 3-4 year-old children. Objective: popularize the pedagogical principles and the materials developed by M.Montessori in relation to modern day rapid living pace and the implementation of newly developed preschool directives in educational preschool institutions of Latvia. This report highlights the important qualities and skills that serve as a foundation in forming an independent persona and how to develop said qualities. The research focuses on Montessori sensory and practical life materials and how they contribute to developing skills and qualities, that facilitate the evolution of independence, in 3-4 year old children; how these materials with their specific making correspond to the conclusions of other researchers about ensuring the efficiency of educational process. In addition to that, importance of the Montessori environment and teacher is examined and how there three factors interact with each other. Comparisons are made how environment and materials affect development of independence. It is concluded, that not only the specific materials, but also the environment and the pedagogical principles in the actions of the teacher play important role in independence development. Finally, it is recognized, that it is beneficial to add Montessori materials in regular preschool institutions.
