Abstract
Kopsavilkums
Cukura diabēts un tā ārstēšanā izmantoto medikamentu pareiza izvēle joprojām ir aktuālas problēmas visā pasaulē. Latvijā ar šo slimību sirgst ap 90 000 cilvēku.
Šī pētījuma mērķis ir iegūt informāciju par insulīnatkarīgā cukura diabēta (IDDM) un insulīnneatkarīgā cukura diabēta (NIDDM) slimniekiem izrakstīto zāļu izvēli endokrinoloģes S. Keisas ārsta praksē. Dati iegūti no 100 pacientu slimības vēsturēm.
Komplikāciju ārstēšanā izmanto preparātus atkarībā no blakus diagnozes.
Diabetes and its treatment are still actual problems all over the world. In Latvia about 90 000 patients are suffering from this disease. The aim of the present study is to get information on antidiabetic drug choice at the private practice of the endocrinologist S.Keisa. The information on insulin-dependent (IDDM) and non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) patients, complications and therapy was obtained from 100 diabetic patients’ lists. The obtained data show that in IDDM patients, mostly the short-acting insulin (Lantus Solo Star) and combined insulins (Novo Mix Flex Pen; Humalog Mix 25 Pen) were used. The NIDDM patients, mostly with the biguanide drug metformin (Metforal) and sulfonylurea drug glipiside (Diaprel MR), as well as insulin were treated. For the treatment of complications the appropriate drugs were recommended.
